The main objective of the PTA is to promote the
welfare of children in the home, school, and community through the
united efforts of all the significant adults in their lives.
The PTA provides assembly programs, Holiday Shop,
Book Fair, Field Day, Ice Cream Bingo and many other fun events at our
schools.
The PTA provides an opportunity for you to get
involved in your child's education. Parent volunteers help provide
needed services throughout the school year. Some volunteer
opportunities are for short term (participation is for a few days or
weeks) while others are on-going commitments throughout the school
year.

The Barclay Brook/Brookside PTA has a very active
PTA. We are a member of the New Jersey PTA. We are comprised of
general members and executive board members.
There are four general PTA meetings during the
school year and the executive board meets monthly. The executive board
members are on one or more of the PTA committees and may chair a
committee. General Members are strongly encouraged to volunteer to
assist the PTA committees.
