Cash for Trash (d) Collect and maintain donations for our recycle program. Once a month
Casino Night (d/e) Organize an adult Casino Night Fundraiser. Early March
Circus Around the World (BB)(d/e) Organize and assist teachers and principal in the production of "Circus Around the World", performed by 2nd graders. Late May
Cultural Fair (d) Organize a fun and educational event to teach our students diversity and to learn about different cultures around the world. January
Entertainment Books (d,e) Organize the sale and distribution of Entertainment Books. Late Sept/Early Oct
Family Board Game Night (e) Organize game night for families in BB/BS. Early January
Father/Child Event (d,e) Organize event for students and their fathers (lunch and entertainment). Late November (Saturday)
Family Movie Night (e) Organize a family movie night for BB/BS students and families. January
Field Day (d) Organize field day refreshments for students, and order t-shirts for students. Late May/Early June
Fifth Grade Activities (d) Coordinate refreshments and activities with Principal for Moving Up Ceremony. Order t-shirts for the 5th grade. June
Fifth Grade Celebration (d/e) Organize end of the year celebration for the 5th grade students. June
Flower Shop (d,e) Organize the sale of plants for children to purchase during school hours. Volunteers are needed for set up, clean up, and to help children with their purchases. Early May
Food Supply/Donations Donate items (food, paper goods, supplies, etc) for PTA Events.and Activities Throughout the year
Fundraising (d,e) Choose, organize and distribute fundraisers. Throughout the year
Go Green (d,e) Environmental awareness committee. Organize and promote sale of "green" products. Throughout the year
Holiday Shop (d,e) Organized for student's shopping experience. Volunteers needed to set up, clean up, and to help children with their purchases. December
Hospitality (d,e) Coordinate refreshments: September Back to School Night, General Body PTA Meetings, Kindergarten Orientation, and other PTA related events. Throughout the year
Ice Cream Bingo (d/e) Organize event for BB/BS Students. Early spring
Kids Art (d,e) Work with vendor, art teachers, students and parents to generate and publish art created by students. October/November
Kindergarten Social (d) Organize a social for incoming kindergarten students. August
Legislative Action (d,e) Inform parents about local, school-related, legislation and elections. April
Membership (e) Generate forms/cards, collect funds and enter information into MS Excel spreadsheets for General PTA Membership. Throughout the year; mainly Sep-Oct
Pumpkin Carving (e) Organize event for carving of pumpkin for BB/BS students. October
Pumpkin Patch (d,e) Organize and distribute pumpkins to students. October
School Store (d) Purchase and sell items at school store. Coordinate and schedule volunteers. Twice a month: BB-Wed, BS - Fri
School Tool Box (d,e) Organize the sale of supplies for students for the first day of school. May and August
Standing Rules (e) Organize and review rules and regulations of our PTA. Once or twice a year
Spirit Wear (d,e) Distribute and collect order forms, work with vendor, distribute completed orders, set up spirit wear tables at PTA events. Throughout the year
Teacher Appreciation (d) Organize teacher breakfast and lunch. May
Variety Show (d,e) Organize annual show for students in BB/BS. Spring
Website (d,e) Maintain PTA website with current info/events. Throughout the year
Yearbook (d,e) Create and publish Yearbook. Photography, editing, and sales skills are all helpful. Throughout the year
